It has got a lot of potential. I've liked the main actor since Boston Legal, and a few other shows like the first few of Fringe, but the real star is Watchmen's Jackie Earle Haley. Jackie plays a small but probably psychotic assistant who may very well be to this show what Barney is to How I Met Your Mother. As for the CGI, this is the pilot episode so I'm hoping the budget increased a bit for the actual series. FOX gave it a premier spot before the premier of 24, and its regular time will be after American Idol so it's got more than the normal chance FOX will give a show.
