Tom Holland recently interviewed with AlloCiné regarding his upcoming feature film Spider-Man: Homecoming where he plays none other than your friendly neighborhood web-slinger, Spider-Man.

While talking with AlloCiné, Holland revealed that a Spider-Man trilogy is underway, stating:

There is still a lot of room for Peter Parker and Spider-Man especially to grow in the next two movies. He’s definitely not the finished article by the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming and I really look forward to exploring the different ways he can grow up and go through puberty I guess. It’s going to be an exciting couple of movies.

He was then asked to clarify what was meant by “couple of movies”, then Holland spilled the beans.

There will be a Spider-Man 2 and 3… Well, now you know! Sorry Marvel, whoops! That’s out!

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be swinging into theaters July 7th, 2017, starring Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Zendaya (Michelle), Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark), Chris Evans (Captain America), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Donald Glover, and Marisa Tomei (Aunt May).
