New Arkham City Footage

You know that I couldn’t let something this awesome go without mention. New Arkham City footage has been released that focuses mainly on the Penguin but we also get treated to a juiced up Solomon Grundy.  (For those who didn’t know, he was born on a Monday.)

With as awesome as this game is going to be, you know that there will be a third installment.  How will they even come close to being able to top Arkham City?

This One’s For You, Zuke.

It just keeps getting better and better. Or would it be more accurate to say “epic-er and epic-er?” Yeah, probably not, but still.

Thor: The God Of Awesome

UPDATE:  Marvel got to our source too.  It took them longer, but they got there.

Below is the leaked footage from Comic Con of the upcoming Thor movie.  I’m not a big fan of Thor but I was planning on seeing the film when it’s released next summer.  After seeing the footage though, I don’t know that I can wait that long.  Hurry and watch before it gets taken down.

Marvel got to all the uploads pretty fast. This is courtesy of io9.

StarCraft II Never Ceases to Amaze

With the release of Blizzard’s long-awaited StarCraft II just a few days away, they’ve released a jaw-dropping new trailer. Saying this game is going to be incredibly awesome would be the understatement of the year. Well, why are you still reading this? Push “Play!” now!

Hope for The Old Republic?

I’m still not sure what to think about the upcoming Star Wars game, The Old Republic, but the following trailer at least gives me the hope that it’s going to be a good thing.

You know what, LucasArts? Forget this game, ditch The Clone Wars show and The Force Unleashed… and make a movie like this trailer. I’d watch it.

I Never Promised

Since it was Zuke who made the promise on a reduction of video awesomeness, I am still free to post as many videos in a row as I like because he’s not the boss of me.  Now that I’ve exercised an act of defiance…

Below you will see the reason why every geek must go to San Diego Comic Con at least once: the exclusive toys. As geeks, we all love toys; that’s no secret. Our collections probably drive our spouses insane.  We especially love toys that other people are unable to acquire. This is where getting your hands on some of these convention exclusives comes into play. (I think that it’s something to do with our desire to see others want. Probably because we all wanted something, be it girls or the whole collection of Star Wars toys, as we were growing up.)

Are you ready for v2.0?

Part of me wants to be cynical and say that this won’t be as revolutionary as the first.  Of course, there’s the other 80% of me that’s beating that part over the head and burying it in the desert.
