For example, I just finished my basement. I've never done construction of that magnitude. There are a few issues here and there but for the most part, nobody will ever know about them unless I point them out. I also taught myself how to do a lot of the same things that mentioned here. Somehow, I've taught myself well enough to make multiple careers out of things that I really have no business doing in the beginning but, in the end, I get freaking awesome at. There's a lot to be said for trying to do something yourself instead of paying somebody else to do it. I actually learned how to do a lot of things on the fly.
