I had talked with a friend who had also attended the concert with his wife. They had bumped into a couple of people who had season concert tickets for the symphony. The regular attendees were dressed up, but admitted they didn't know what to expect. He told me about a conductor dressed in a spider-man t-shirt?

Wish I could have gone, when I saw the ad I was cursing my lack of money.

Don't forget, that during the performance of the Halo score, one of the "morons" behind us was humming very annoyingly (and very much out of tune) with the choir.

I LOVE the music from Super Mario Brothers. I remember the percussion ensemble from my high school playing it in an assembly and having nearly every student in attendance go nuts.

Even though the music is from a video game, real musicians with a lot of talent composed it. It's hard work and people shouldn't discount it just because it comes from a "non-traditional" medium.
