So . . . Marky Mark is playing Max Payne this week. I've seen the trailer on TV, but haven't heard much else about it. What are we all thinking? Is this just going to be another video game to movie disappointment?

I don't get too excited for movies based on games. Uwe Bol has just gone and ruined it for me.

Well, Schmidty, Squishy, and I saw it Tuesday.
There are two ways you can look at it:
- It's a bad to medeocre movie -or-
- It's a rather good video game movie.
It actually tries to be a movie, and not a living video game. The story is decent, the acting . . . varies, and the action is somewhat believable (well, no more unbelievable than other Hollywood creations).
However, Squishy did point out it was an hour and 10 minutes before Max killed anyone. I had been sitting there, looking at the screen, trying to figure out what was wrong up to that point.
