I have to admit, I lol’d at the whole fly-swatter vs. chopsticks part.
I dunno, I don’t really have a problem with the whole “Karate Kid” name; if you can believe that a kid can learn to be a world class fighter in the course of a few weeks from part time lessons with a janitor . . . then your suspension of disbelief can probably extend to the name too. Besides, Kung Fu Kid just seems a bit too long.
Just so long as we keep Steven Sagal out of any of these films, I think we’ll be ok.
