This is a quote from Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden.
“I’m
not into the small bore stuff. I don’t care whether or not she built a
bridge to nowhere. I don’t care if she sold a plane. What I care about
is what in God’s name she [is] going to do – along with John McCain –
about the thousands of people who don’t have health care.”
Though Palin has done great things for the Republican party. They now have no problem with teen pregnancy, though aparently my daughter shouldn’t be allowed to make the same choice hers did.
My only question is, why isn’t she being interviewed by anyone? Why are they turning down interviews left and right? Only thing I can think of is that (compared to the other people on both ballots) she has the most recent skeletons and they are worried about what might be asked.Oh, I heard a good one; Not only is Alaska close to Russia (so she has foreign policy experience), but it also has the highest point in the United States . . . so she has astronaut experience too!
Her public apearences should tell the tale. Their first major media interview was with People magazine, not exactly a bastion of political journalism. Likely they knew that People would be so thrilled to get the interview that they would allow the McCain/Palin camp to dictate the terms of the interview. She has her first interview some time this week with, I think, ABC. I wonder if there will be any hard questions, or will it be more fluff trying to convince me that because she’s had five kids, is a bit of a MILF, and is near Russia (although the part of Russia she is near is almost completly uninhabited).
