I love it when stores try to convince shoppers that their brand is just as good, if not better, than national brands. True, in some things it doesn’t really matter but in others it’s a big deal. I love the name of this cereal. It’s further proof that you don’t need a degree in marketing to come up with stupid ideas.
nice!
Of course, I am a granola shopper, and I don’t think that the companies that make granola and musliex are really on the up and up of marketing. By the way, if something markets itself as “snap squares” apparently it’s these half inch thick crunchy squares that don’t absorb milk and are akin to eating dog food.
Also, if you’re ever in a grocery store that actually has real, healthy selection, go down the soy/rice/almond milk aisle. You’d be suprised which ones actually taste good and which ones are crap. I used to judge by the labels, but not anymore. . .
Doesn’t everybody love a good hexagon? Nothing quite so appetizing as six-sided food.
When shopping for cereal a few weeks back I had yet another realization that I am getting old. I based my decision on which box to get not on the shininess of the package, or what toy came inside, but instead my decision was swayed by fiber content. I’m old.
Squishy – Do you organize your cereal according to fiber content?
In ascending order from “Regular Maintenance” to “Could Clear out an Elephant”.
