I know that everyone that reads this blog has at one time or another thought how cool it would be to build a working lightsaber.  Heck, I’ve even discussed the physics of it with one of my engineering professors.

I’ve never gotten very far in my quest for a lightsaber to call my own but that’s all about to change.  I found a really cool website with instructions to make multiple styles of lightsaber hilts.  You can check out all of the coolness at the Big Yellow Box.

On a related note, the folks at Indy Mogul have made a video showing how to build your own lightsaber and make them look really cool using special effects.  I haven’t posted any video clips for a while so here it is for your viewing enjoyment.
