Archive for the “comic books” Category

I was going to post an idea that I’ve been kicking around in my head for the past few days but then I discovered a really cool movie that I wanted to share instead. It’s better than my idea because Batman says “I’m Batman” in it. It’s in the same vein as the Mac vs. PC commercials so I think that a few of our readers will especially enjoy it.

I’m a fan of webcomics; big fan.  In fact, many of my private jokes here aren’t understandable to anyone who has not read and can immediately remember which strip I’m talking about.  Yeah, I know, I’m a bit odd that way.

I had previously linked to the occasional comic strip to make a point (or to add a humorous outlink) only to realize that Google considers that to be outbound traffic, and therefore, a “bounce“.  Henceforth, when there is a comic that I feel fits into a post, I shall insert it into the post (see “Another Weekend of Movies” for an example).

Yeah. You heard me. Do I have your attention? How about now?

Mortal Kombat vs. DC

Yeah, that’s right, unlike Capcom, Mortal Kombat decided that the heroes of the Marvel Universe were too weak, and probably still too divided since Civil War, so they’re going to enter the DC Universe.

Finally, Batman will be able to destroy Sub Zero. Don’t even try to say that he won’t either because you know that he will. How many times has he put Mr. Freeze in Arkham? Sub Zero will be a walk in the park for the Caped Crusader.
