I normally don’t get too excited about a new Humble Bundle being released, but when I discovered their latest offering, I immediately broke out my credit card and placed an order. Included in the latest offering is the first installment of the critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham franchise, Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, as well as both of the intensely frightening paranormal shooters F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and F.E.A.R. 3 and the groundbreaking action-RPG, Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Plus, if you choose to pay more than the average, which as of the time of this writing is $4.62, you can also unlock Scribblenauts Unlimited and the sequel to Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition! Not bad for less than $5.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Humble Bundle, they offer a bundle of games and you choose how much you’re willing to pay. What makes this it better though is that part of what you ultimately choose to pay for the games goes towards charity; and you get to choose what that amount is. In this instance, a portion of the proceeds will benefit DC’s We Can Be Heroes which is designed to raise awareness and critical funds needed to fight the devastating hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa and bring help and hope to eight million people who are in urgent need of assistance.
If you have put off getting any of these titles, now is your chance. Head on over and get your bundle today.
