Graphic Novel becomes Movie
I just came across a movie that looks like its gonna be one of the greatest Super Hero movies of 2009. If any of you are familiar with the graphic novel “Watchmen”, you will be likely to agree.
Warner Bros. Studios have brought Zach Snyder (Director of 300) to direct the film to be released March 6, 2009

Top Ten (10) Upcoming Movies Based On Video Games
(Ok, this will be my last post for the day, Not much else to do while laid up in bed for 24 hours straight)
From Super Mario Brothers (1993), Street Fighter (1994), to Mortal Kombat (1995), Pokemon (2002-2007), Final Fantasy (2001) and Doom (2005), video games have been key story lines for many successful movies. We have examined the upcoming movie releases and selected the top ten upcoming movies based on video games. All of these movies are in production and moving forward, therefore movies that have stalled in production were not included.
X-Men 4?
LA Daily News reports that X-Men executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner is currently working on the cast for a 4th installment in the movie franchise. Renegotiations would be needed to secure the main stars of the previous three films.
Donner says “The newer cast members are signed, and the older cast members are not.” Considering the older names involved — Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Romijn, Famke Janssen and Anna Paquin — that could run into a huge chunk of money.
All that’s putting the cart before the wolverine, of course, since Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as the manicure-challenged mutant superhero in his own film. “Next, we’re going to do ‘Wolverine,’ but not before the end of the year because he’s in the Baz Luhrmann film,” she says of the film maker’s untitled Australian epic with Nicole Kidman. However, “We have the script and are working on it.”
Shuler Donner reports, “We also have ‘Young Magneto’ in development.”
Zelda for real?
Ok, if this preview is real, its gotta be some of the cheesiest character designs (like even cheesier than Kraft Mac & Cheese)

ok, maybe it just my pain meds kicking in, but I found this to be way funny.
Lego Indiana Jones
I may be weird, but I have just played one of the funniest games since Lego Star Wars and that is Lego Indiana Jones. The game play in this is great. You have to find shovels to dig things up and wrenches to repair certain vehicles before you can use them. The controls handle just as smoothly as the previous Lego games. You can unlock a playable character from the Star Wars game, Han Solo. The game follows all 3 of the original movies. With how much I am loving this game, I am even more thrilled about their next Lego game: Lego Batman.

Star Trek XI (2009)
This is for all the Trekkies out there. Star Trek XI is set to be released in May 2009. Directed by J.J. Abrams (the guy that directed Mission: Impossible III) An upcoming movie about the greatest space adventure of all time, “Star Trek,” featuring a young, new crew venturing boldly where no man or woman has gone before. This is a chronicle of the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members. What I have gathered about the plot is that it is the story of the James T. Kirk and his crew before they joined together to crew the Enterprise. It tells how the starship was built and its first missions.
